Director Niccole SueAnn Wallace is seeking two women, ages mid to late 20s to early 30s, and two men, one late 20s and one mid to late 50s, for our third production, the drama PROOF by David Auburn.
Auditions are Monday and Tuesday, December 16th and 17th, at 7:00 pm, at the Barn in the Park, and will consist of cold readings from the scipt. The show runs March 6-8, 13-15, 2020.
Characters:
- Catherine – mid 20s, mathematical genius struggling to cope with her own mental health and the loss of her father
- Robert – mid to late 50s, Catherine’s father, he was considered one of the most brilliant mathematicians, struggled with mental illness in his later years
- Hal – late 20s – former graduate student under Robert, while searching through Robert’s journals, Hal finds a paradigm-shifting proof about prime numbers that could change the math world
- Claire – late 20s to early 30s – Catherine’s older sister, she is worried about her sister during and after their father’s funeral, and wants Catherine to move to New York with her
Please note, the characters of Hal and Catherine will need to kiss onstage.
