This musical is set in the average day in the life of Charlie Brown. Made up of various little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from Valentine’s Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together on the string of a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening.

  • Charlie Brown (Lead, male) Vocal Range: Baritone
A young boy lacking self confidence, but making up for it in persistence. Kind and compassionate, he is lead by his friends to discover ‘Happiness’
  • Lucy Van Pelt (Lead, female) Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano
The older sister of Linus. She is bossy and tough. Also in love with Schroeder.
  • Sally Brown (Supporting, female) Vocal Range: Soprano
The younger sister of Charlie Brown. She is young and childish, and very impressionable. Has a crush on Linus.
  • Linus Van Pelt (Supporting, male) Vocal Range: Baritone
Linus is the younger brother of Lucy and Charlie Browns best friend. He constantly carries around his security blanket. Linus is deceptively intellectual.
*Preferred Tap Dance Experience, but NOT Required*
  • Schroeder (Supporting, male) Vocal Range: Tenor
Schroeder is very passionate about music. Usually very reserved. Schroeder needs to have a very “show-off” voice.
  • Snoopy (Supporting, male/female) Vocal Range: Tenor
Snoopy is Charlie Brown’s loyal dog. A very extroverted beagle. This actor will have to be very dynamic in their acting, as Snoopy has many personalities he portrays and is a very melodramatic character himself.

*All characters can be played by actors of any age, 17+*
