Auditions Announced for HUMPTY DUMPTY IS MISSING at Sunset Players

SSP_logoCINCINNATI, OH – September 19, 2019 —Sunset Players will hold open auditions for its children’s show HUMPTY DUMPTY IS MISSING by Joseph Robinette and directed by Bob Kelley on Sunday, September 29 at 6:00pm and Monday, September 30 at 7:00 pm at The Art Center at Dunham at 1945 Dunham Way, Cincinnati, OH 45238.

Sammy Scoop is a private investigator in the tradition of his grandfather, Samuel Shovel and his father, Sam Spade. Sammy faces the biggest challenge of his illustrious career with the sudden fall and disappearance of the jolly Humpty-Dumpty.

The children’s show at Sunset Players is a great way for children or adults with little to no acting experience to gain some experience performing live theater. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Actors must be able to read. Auditions will consist of reading selections from the script.

The cast consists of 16-27 roles. Crew members and set builders are also needed.

Performances are December 6,7,8,13,14 and 15th. Friday night performances are at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2pm.

Sunset Players, Inc. is a community theater group located on the west side of Cincinnati. Founded in 1979, the group performs at the Arts Center at Dunham and has produced more than 120 plays.
