Auditions Announced for MY FAIR LADY at Dayton Playhouse

When Lerner and Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY opened on Broadway, it collected six Tony Awards including Best Musical. The film version took home eight Oscars including Best Picture. Based on George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion, MY FAIR LADY is the tale of a cockney flower girl transformed into a lady. The musical features some of the best-known tunes including “The Rain in Spain”, “I Could Have Danced All Night”, and “Get Me to the Church on Time.”

Production dates are Sept. 14 – 30

Please prepare 16-32 bars of music marked with all cuts and legible. Accompanist will be provided.

Inspiring Arts cordially invites you to “Be Our Guest” at our 2018 summer show.  Experience the magic when Inspiring Arts presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, perfect entertainment for the entire family.

The heart-warming musical tells the classic tale of Belle, an intelligent beauty who is imprisoned in a forbidding castle.  She then forms an unlikely friendship with her captor, a hideous beast. The stage show features all the enchanted characters from the popular film including Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Chip and Cogsworth. The unforgettable score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice includes the show-stopping “Be Our Guest,” the rousing “Gaston” and the romantic “Beauty and the Beast,” plus additional songs not heard in the film.

Also, join the Inspiring Arts Princesses an hour before each performance for a very special event.  Join us for a sweet treat, making a craft, meeting the princesses, and participation in an interactive presentation.  These special event tickets are $8.00 per child.  (Please note The Princess Party tickets are separate from Beauty and the Beast performance tickets.)

The enchantment begins on July 12th at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.

A DEADLY GAME OF LOVE

WDP_logoPreparations are under way for the taping of “You Said What?” and everyone associated with the show is excited. Hugh Jassel, the game show host, is about to make his appearance.. He is sure the show and everyone associated with it are his to play with and use. Blackmail, affairs, and random firings are all a part of the game behind the game. When on the air he is the “host with the most.” Jerk… pig… and slime are just a few of the words that have been used to describe him behind the scenes.  Oh, add one more…. dead!  Whodunit???

Join us for a behind the scenes peek at the drama behind the drama!  Make your reservation now for July 7th at Memorial Hall for an evening of food and fun.  The Whodunit? Players present A DEADLY GAME OF LOVE, a fast-paced, interactive murder mystery where audience members have a chance to solve the crime. An uproarious combination of theater and comedy and a chance to use your deductive skills with hilarious results!

  • Prepare a 60- 90 second dance routine any style
 
Bring current photo/headshot /performance resume
Dress comfortably and expect a wait
