Auditions Announced for The Who’s TOMMY Concert Presentation at Memorial Hall

ABOUT THE SHOW
Memorial Hall seeks professional singing and dancing performers for its planned concert performance of The Who’s TOMMY. Broadway veteran Leslie Goddard directs and choreographs a presentation to include costumes, projection design and live band in the beautifully restored Anderson Theater.

Supporting performers can expect a short, dense evening and weekend rehearsal schedule. Principals can expect the same, in addition to weekday rehearsals. Conflicts will likely not be accepted.

Performer pay begins at $500.00 for the entire project. Housing not available.

AEA talent warmly invited to audition.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Please prepare one 32-bar selection in the style of the show. Please provide sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. There will also be a dance audition. Please bring comfortable dancewear.
  • Please provide two (2) copies of your headshot and resume.
  • Performers who wish to be considered ONLY for the tracks of Tommy / Narrator, Mrs. Walker, Mr. Walker or Uncle Ernie are not required to dance. It is recommend that all other performers participate in the dance call.
  • Video auditions may be accepted. Please follow the registration instructions below to indicate your preference to submit a video audition.

AUDITION REGISTRATION
Auditions will be held on the evenings of Sunday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Fine Arts building at Northern Kentucky University.

Auditions are by appointment only.
