In honor of the final week of Black History Month and of Lorraine Hansberry’s groundbreaking work, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is offering 15% off tickets to A RAISIN IN THE SUN with code HANSBERRY at the box office or online.
Lorraine Hansberry’s first and best-known play, A RAISIN IN THE SUN, was the first play written by a black woman to open on Broadway. When A RAISIN IN THE SUN won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play, Hansberry was the youngest American playwright and only the fifth woman to receive the award. Although she died aged only thirty-four, she made an irrevocable mark on the world of American drama.
Code is valid through February 28 and excludes preview performances. Limit four tickets per purchase.
