Beechmont Players will hold auditions for the comedy BORN YESTERDAY (by Garson Kanin) at the Anderson Center [5870 Five Mile Road, 45230] on Monday, February 20, and Tuesday February 21 @ 7:00 PM with possible callbacks on Wednesday, February 22.

There will be six weekend performances between May 12-20.

This still-timely comedy enjoyed one of the longest Broadway runs in history.

Arriving in Washington D.C.,  roughneck junk dealer Harry Brock is convinced that with money and a zeal for power, he can “run the men who run the country.” His only problem seems to be his very blonde and brash girlfriend, Billie Dawn– she’s just not smart enough to fit in. He decides she needs some culture. But he gets more than he bargained for as she and her tutor prove that a little bit of learning can be a dangerous thing!

Auditions will consist of readings from the script.  Bring resume, known conflicts for the period February 23rd through May 20th; headshot not necessary but welcome.

NOTE:  the roles of Harry Brock and Billie Dawn have been pre-cast.
