The 2013 Cincinnati Fringe is, again, one for the record books. The 2013 Festival had the highest attendance to date. Attendance was up 14% over last year. Tickets sales were up 1,000 over last year. This year’s Fringe had 32 sellout performances (that’s 20% of the shows). Selling out Saturday were PETUNIA AND CHICKEN, DIRK DARROW: NCSSI, THE ELEPHANT IN MY CLOSET, TELEPHONE: A PREQUEL TO A LOVE STORY, LOON, LOLITA: A THREE PERSON SHOW, THE WAVE and THE KILLING GAME.

Congratulations to everyone involved for a great job.

MCP Seeks Boys Ages 7-12 for THE MUSIC MAN

MCP_logoThe Mason Community Players are in need of boys for their summer musical, THE MUSIC MAN. If you know of any boys, ages 7-12, who would be interested, please ask them to contact me, Debbie Wesolowski, 478-3058, or by email, debtheater@gmail.com.

If they want minimal commitment, they could appear only in the final scene as a member of the boys’ band. If they wish, we would be happy to have them in the other town scenes throughout the play. The play runs July 18-21, and we are in rehearsal right now.

Thanks very much!
