The Jury Experience is a 60-minute scripted play presented as a live courtroom trial. The audience serves as the jury, and the show features alternate endings based on their verdict.
The Deadly Boat Ride
On a summer night, the child of a powerful politician took the wheel of the family’s speedboat – an ex-lover and old friends on board. Hours later, one was dead, one in a coma, and the child is facing a murder charge. Was it an act of jealous rage? Or is there far more to this tragedy than meets the eye?

Rehearsals: Monday, October 12 from 5-9 PM. Additional paid pickup rehearsals scheduled prior to subsequent show dates on cast and crew availability.

Additional show dates will be added and we are looking for cast with availability into 2027.
FEMALE UNDERSTUDY (Female, 40s+)
Covers two principal roles as follows:
WITNESS – SENATOR TERRY GILROY
A powerful politician and parent of the defendant. Terrified of scandal, but above all, a deeply loving parent.
The facade is polished while the emotions beneath are volcanic.
PROSECUTOR – ASSISTANT D.A. ANTONIA TISDALE
Driven and overprepared. The kind of prosecutor who still writes their notes by hand. Projects confidence.
Passionate, intelligent, and intense.
Compensation:
Rehearsals: $18/hour.
Understudy Show Day Rate: $80 per show day to hold the date.
If an understudy is called to go on in a principal role, they would instead receive the principal show day rate of $340 per show day. A van and driver would also be provided to transport performing cast to/from Cincinnati.
