ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD
Miami University
Nov. 16-20
Gates-Abegglen Theatre [Oxford]
Directed by Lewis Magruder
Acclaimed as a modern tragicomedy masterpiece, the story follows the inventive tale of Hamlet as told from the absurd points of view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Shakespeare’s classic. This internationally acclaimed play is playwright Tom Stoppard’s most famous work, an absurd and clever journey where reality and illusion intermix.
