CLP Seeks Two Male Tappers for GEORGE M!

Cincinnati Landmark Productions ss seeking two male tap dancers to join the ensemble of George M! Lots of featured material for the Ensemble too.

GEORGE M! tells the life story of George M. Cohan, a giant of the American musical theater! We follow him over a 60-year period from his childhood in Rhode Island on the vaudeville circuit with his parents and sister as “The Four Cohans,” to New York, where he starts his 25-year absolute reign of the Broadway stage.

Rehearsal details: Rehearsals will take place at The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts until we move aboard the Showboat. Rehearsals will begin Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 6:30 pm. The rehearsal schedule will be based on specific portions of the show to be rehearsed.

Covedale Center Hosts HANSEL AND GRETEL on April 28

The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts Saturday Morning Children’s Series continues with the Grimm Brothers’ classic, HANSEL AND GRETEL.

Located at 4990 Glenway Avenue, the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts continues to grow as the region’s most exciting theatrical venue by featuring the best in local performers and performances.

Our 11am Saturday Morning Children’s Series continues with a performance of HANSEL AND GRETEL as told by the Frisch Marionette Company.

The timeless story of Hansel and Gretel brings some of life’s most important lessons to the stage. Exquisite marionettes, costumes and settings combine with the spellbinding melodies of Engelbert Humperdinck to bring one of the most classic fairy tales to life.

Produced and directed by Kevin Frisch.

Tickets are $5 each, with a performance time of 11am. You can purchase tickets by one of the following methods:

CLP Seeks Parking Lot Attendant for Showboat Season

Cincinnati Landmark Productions, the parent theatrical organization for The Showboat Majestic, Cincinnati’s floating slice of theatrical history, located on the Cincinnati Public Landing, is seeking to hire a lot attendant for the Showboat’s 90th season.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Candidate must be able to work in an unsupervised environment. Must be a self starter, dependable, and have excellent communications skills. Must be able to carry heavy objects and utilize physical strength.

Have ability to work in the sun, wind and rain AND be able to work a flexible schedule including some early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends (based on our production schedule). This position may involve other nautical duties. Pay rate is $8.25 hourly.

CLP Seeks Backstage Crew Member for JOSEPH

Cincinnati Landmark Productions is seeking one backstage crew member for JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.

Requirements: 18+ years of age. Reliable transportation, ability pay close attention to instructions, able to work underneath stage, set props and remove props during the show, lower a drawbridge, hit cues and keep an exciting show on track, possible dresser help too. Must be able to make all dates as listed.

Pay $350.00

Rehearsal dates: April 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18 (early evening)
