CINCINNATI, OH – Vonderhaar’s Catering and the Cincinnati Arts Association are pleased to announce the opening of Vs Café on 7th. Located in the Aronoff Center for the Arts at the corner of 7th and Walnut Streets, adjacent to the Weston Art Gallery, V’s Café on 7th is now open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch (and through curtain time on performance days).

Media and the public are cordially invited to V’s Open House and Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, January 27 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

CAA_Vs Cafe interiorV’s serves creative and delicious sandwiches, unique salads, and homemade soups – with a focus on locally sourced, all-natural ingredients – and is environmentally-conscious and eco-friendly. Whether dining in or carrying out, V’s is the perfect place to stop for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite before a show at the Aronoff Center.

With street level access off of 7th Street and through the Aronoff’s Weston Art Gallery, V’s interior design was created by Gina Vonderhaar and Charles Wright. The space is open and spacious, with warm, clean, natural materials and show posters on the wall, which pay homage to the some of the greatest shows in Broadway history, all of which have been seen at the Aronoff over the past twenty years.

In 1969, Don Vonderhaar Sr. started Vonderhaar’s catering in Reading, OH, and the first event he catered was his own wedding reception.  What started as a neighborhood market has grown into one of the largest catering companies in the region. Over the years, Vonderhaar’s has enjoyed steady growth and success thanks to their commitment to exceptional food and outstanding service – hallmarks that will be the cornerstone of V’s Café on 7th. Vonderhaar’s has proudly served Greater Cincinnati for the past 47 years, is still located in Reading, and employs 200 workers.

“We are very excited to be part of the amazing growth and vibrancy in downtown Cincinnati,” said Don Vonderhaar, Jr., owner of Vonderhaar’s Catering. “We are equally as thrilled to be part of the Aronoff Center and to promote the Vonderhaar brand to the downtown market. This is an exceptional opportunity for the continued expansion and exposure of our family-owned business.”

“We are pleased to welcome V’s Café on 7th to the Aronoff Center as one of downtown’s newest dining destinations,” said Todd Duesing, Aronoff Center Director of Operations.  “For 20 years, the Aronoff has been a hub of activity and a gathering place for Cincinnati residents and visitors. V’s is yet another way people can come together at the Aronoff – to enjoy a creative and delicious breakfast, lunch, or pre-show meal. Vonderhaar’s delivers spectacular café dining and catering options that garner applause, much like the many events at the Aronoff!”
