The sexy, salacious jazz age sizzles in 1920s Chicago, where small-time show girl Roxie Hart becomes the toast of the town after murdering her lover in cold blood. But fame is fleeting for the hot jazz slayer of the moment, and Roxie and smooth-stepping lawyer Billy Flynn manipulate everyone around them in a high-stakes tap dance into the headlines and away from the hangman’s noose.

One of the all-time favorites of Broadway and the silver screen, CHICAGO spellbinds with hot Fosse production numbers including “All That Jazz” and “Cell Block Tango” crafted by Broadway veteran and Cincinnati native David Baum in his regional choreography debut.

Fellow Broadway vet Leslie Goddard (Roxie) and CCM standout Kimber Sprawl (Velma) lead a thrilling cast of local favorites and top university performers.

CINCINNATI, OH –­­ Emmy® and Tony® Award-winner and Oscar®-nominee Hal Holbrook returns to the Aronoff Center on Friday, May 17 at 8:00 PM in Mark Twain Tonight! – his acclaimed award-winning one-man show which celebrates the humor, satirical wit, and timeless observations of Mark Twain. This must-see theatrical event is a presentation of Cincinnati Arts Association’s 2012-13 Season.

Half-price tickets (50% discount) are now available for students, educators, seniors, and military, with a limit of two tickets per person with a valid ID. Hal Holbrook has never been able to quit Mark Twain and probably never will. He has toured the show in some part of every year since 1954, with over 2,200 performances, making 2013 the 59th consecutive year for this remarkable one-man show. Mark Twain Tonight! has become perhaps the longest-running show in theatre history. Holbrook adds to his Twain material every year, editing and changing it to fit the times, and has mined over sixteen hours of Twain with more coming all the time. He has no set program – he chooses material as he goes along.

Untethered Theater is offering $5 RUSH tickets for their season opener SAVAGE IN LIMBO directed by Kevin Crowley. Making our venue The Clifton Performance Theatre the ONLY storefront theatre in Cincinnati, and the ONLY theatre in Cincinnati selling RUSH tickets. At 7:55pm all available seating (limited) will be offered at the price of $5. An extremely well valued ticket price to see the work of Kevin Crowley, who has previously worked with Steve Carell and Mike Meyers at The Second City in Chicago. For anyone who wants a guaranteed seat, just pay the normal $15 price as soon as you get to the theater. No waiting! Plenty of time to enjoy a soda or a glass of wine.

SAVAGE IN LIMBO is a comedy about unrealized potential and realizing you never had potential to begin with. Denise Savage has a consuming need to make a change in her life, starting with the apartment she shares with her mother. At the Bronx bar where the show takes place, she’s surrounded by other stunted losers, fellow 32 year olds who peaked long ago. Some of them find freedom at the bottom, while others find they’re still alone.
