It takes a lot of planning and hard work to get a sleigh off the ground and deliver toys to children around the world, but Santa’s team is ready and willing. TWDP_Holiday Mystery DinnerPOLAR DISTRESS
Presented by The Whodunit Players
Nov. 22
Queensgate

Holiday Mystery Dinner Theater. It’s 1943 and railroad tycoon Lionel Twain is preparing to make a big announcement. Rumor has it that he is planning a three-day excursion route to the North Pole. The excitement has been building as the train’s route will take passengers to four winter-themed attractions along the way: A ski resort, an Arctic safari adventure, a scenic northern forest preserve and the world’s largest holiday tree farm and nursery.

But big changes are afoot as Twain changes the train to an express cargo route carrying wartime supplies to Alaska. And none of the guests are too happy about the planned detour. Who has plans of their own to change Twain’s final destination?

In 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released from 19 years of unjust imprisonment, but finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life, initiating a life-long struggle for redemption as he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change his ways. Finally, during the Paris student uprising of 1832, Javert must confront his ideals after Valjean spares his life and saves that of the student revolutionary who has captured the heart of Valjean’s adopted daughter. His world-view shattered, Javert commits suicide, and Valjean at last attains the peace he has sought for so long.
