Running Crew Needed for ALMOST HEAVEN at Covedale Center

CLPCincinnati Landmark Production is seeking one back stage person for our production of ALMOST HEAVEN – The Songs of John Denver.

Easy gig – run slides back stage – easy breezy work. Must have reliable transportation. If interested, email me at jenniferperrino@clpshows.org.

Seeking:

  • Kramer: Male-identifying actor to play a rough-around-the-edges veteran with a dark past. Age range: 40’s
  • Astrid: Female-identifying actor to play a conservative woman who likes to be left alone. Age range: 50 and older.
  • Macks: Male-identifying actor to play a man who is very talkative, energetic, and would do anything to fit in. Age range: 30-45.Ford: Male-identifying actor to play an
  • unpredictable, domineering antagonist who is poised under pressure. Age range: 45 and older.
  • Thera: Female-identifying actor to play a woman who has faced a life of persecution. She has fought a life-long battle and is on the verge of giving up hope. Age range: 40 and older.
  • Kore: Female-identifying actor to play a mysterious woman who may or may not be building an army.  Age range: 40 and older.

For all roles, actors of all races, ethnicities, types, and identities are encouraged to submit.

About the project:
A Sci-Fi thriller told only through the medium of sound, Wellspring is a fictional podcast that explores the darkness in our society, and our collective past.

Actors Needed for 42ND STREET at Covedale Center

CLPCLP is seeking 2 men to fill the roles of Abner Dillon and Pat Denning in our spring production of 42ND STREET.

  • Abner Dillon (Male 45 – 60)
    Sugar Daddy…Texan – no singing or dancing – it’s an actor role.
  • Pat Denning (Male 45 – 60)
    Dorothy’s former love. He’s got a little singing to do.

Would be limited rehearsal time up front for you!

Rehearsals begin Feb. 25, 2019; Tech begins March 31, 2019 and performances run April 4 – 28, 2019.

Job Title: Assistant Production Manager

Reports to: Production Manager

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling of Design and Production meetings
  • Manage Production Dept. communications
  • Create and update Tech and Production schedules
  • Update Production Materials and Labor Budgets (coordinate w/Finance)
  • PO/Invoice processing including entry into Accounting system
  • Update SharePoint site and coordinate access
  • Hire and coordinate over-hire, non-union Run Crew
  • Coordinate Travel/Housing for visiting designers
  • General logistics and miscellaneous show related tasks
  • Time Card processing
  • Track Production Department purchasing, including Credit Card bill processing and entry into Accounting system
  • Other duties as assigned

Competencies include:

  • BA in Theater (or related field) and a Minimum of three years professional experience in a similar position.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient with a variety of computer programs.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The position also requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, climb a ladder and bend as necessary. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time, salaried position. Benefits include medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, and 401k and 403b pension plans.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
