Remaining Performances Cancelled for THE MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940 at Lebanon Theatre Company

LTC_logoWe regret to announce that in view of the Covid-19 virus precautions and Governor DeWine’s recent ban on large gatherings, we have been forced to cancel the remaining performances of THE MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940.

This decision was not made lightly. While this is financially challenging for our community theatre, it is a no-brainer when it comes to supporting the health of our community, our patrons (especially our older patrons), and our healthcare infrastructure. As you know, LTC relies heavily on ticket sales to remain operational. Nonetheless, if you would like to request a refund for your ticket, our volunteers will process the request. However, please be understanding and give them time, as our volunteers will be doing the processing during their personal time. If you do not wish to request a refund, your ticket purchase will be converted to a tax-deductible donation. Our sincere thanks for your support of LTC during this challenging time.

The cast is disappointed, the board is disappointed, as we are sure you are disappointed. Everyone, please, stay healthy, wash your hands, and take care of one another. We look forward to seeing all of you again, once things return to normal.

MOMUS & APHRODITE Postponed by CenterStage Players

CSPOH_logoAs you are well aware, the entire country continues to put preventative measures in place in hopes of curbing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  Due to concerns associated with the virus pandemic as well as mandates from the Governor of Ohio and Lockland School Board, CenterStage Players is disappointed to announce that we are postponing the premiere of MOMUS & APHRODITE which was scheduled to open on Friday, March 13.

The cast has been hard at work refining this production since January and we were excited to bring this regional premiere to the stage. We are hopeful that we will be able to reschedule performances later in the current season, but details cannot be finalized until such a time when many of the current preventative measures are lifted.  Once that occurs we hope to be able to secure additional production dates dependent upon venue and cast availability.

For those who purchased pre-sale tickets and would like a refund, you will be receiving an e-mail message shortly with details on that process.

We continue to monitor this situation and hope to be back onstage as soon as possible once health and government officials have determined it’s safe again.  As details are confirmed we will post that information to both our website and Facebook pages.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of live community theatre!

DIRECTOR’S CUT Rescheduled, SNOW WHITE Cancelled at Cincinnati Ballet

CB_new logoAn important message from Cincinnati Ballet Leadership:

You may have heard the news that Governor Mike DeWine has issued an executive order canceling large public gatherings in Ohio in an effort to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Cincinnati Ballet’s upcoming performances of DIRECTOR’S CUT at Cincinnati Music Hall are being rescheduled to April 30-May 2, 2020 at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. We have also made the decision to cancel our upcoming March 28-April 5 performances of Family Series: SNOW WHITE at the Aronoff Center.

SNOW WHITE will be added to the 2020-2021 Season, in lieu of The Little Mermaid. Cincinnati Ballet is committed to the health of our community and these are difficult but necessary decisions. If you are a ticket holder to an affected performance, we will be reaching out to you directly.

These unprecedented circumstances pose financial repercussions for our community and Cincinnati Ballet. As a non-profit arts organization, ticket sales only account for 35% of what it takes to support our world-class ballet company.

Our patrons are our livelihood and the reason our dancers perform each season. We thank you for your continued support of Cincinnati Ballet and value you as a member of our family. Please check back for updates. We will get through this together!
