THE GLASS MENAGERIE Runs June 2-11

ALT_The Glass MenagerieTHE GLASS MENAGERIE
American Legacy Theatre
June 2-11
ARCO [East Price Hill]

This award-winning play is an exploration of Tennesse Williams’ own upbringing with an overbearing and histrionic mother and his own desires for independence.  This gripping piece explores the difficult aspects of families, raising children, and relationships.

Our star, Annie Donnellon, who is blind, is breaking the stigma of what people living with disabilities can do; countering ideas around ableism.  Join us as we work to create more accessible theatre experiences that are enjoyable for everyone regardless of differing abilities. This production is made possible by The William O. Purdy, Jr. Foundation Fund of Greater Cincinnati Foundation.

  • Fri-Sat, June 2-3 at 7:30pm
  • Sun, June 4 at 2pm

THE 39 STEPS Runs June 2-11

KRT_The 39 StepsTHE 39 STEPS
Kincaid Regional Theatre
June 2-11
[Falmouth, Ky.]

In The 39 Steps, a man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization called “The 39 Steps” is hot on the man’s trail in a nationwide manhunt from London to Scotland that climaxes in a death-defying finale!

Playwright Patrick Barlow’s adaptation of John Buchan’s 1915 novel and Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film is an extravaganza of over 150 characters played by an amazing cast of just four actors. This adaptation includes vivid allusions and puns to other Hitchcock films – watch out for “Rear Window,” “Psycho,” “North by Northwest” and “Strangers on a Train.” Dessert Theatre – Enjoy English themed sweets, tea, and coffee while the story unfolds.
