1963… An assassin’s bullet catapults Lyndon B. Johnson into the presidency. A Shakespearean figure of towering ambition and appetite, this charismatic, conflicted Texan hurls himself into the Civil Rights Act, a tinderbox issue emblematic of a divided America. Note: Graphic and crude language.

Ford as LBJ and Derek Snow as MLK, also featuring the talents of Aaron Batesjef brown, James Christian Jr., Sally Fint, William Gibson, Gary Glass, David Hatfield, John Langley, Joel Lind, Dava Lynn, Dan Maloney, Charles McClinon, Burt McCollom, Fred Murrell, Tom Peters, Arny Stoller, Elizabeth Leigh Taylor, and Kenny Tessel.
