While on course to explore space, Capt. Roger and her side kick, Lt. Nusene are knocked off course and crash on a mysterious planet. With their ship damaged, they must explore the alien terrain and find a way to fix their ship. Will the Capt and Lt. make friends with the locals? Will the two be able to fix their ship? Will the two manage to escape from danger?

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Broadway in Cincinnati is pleased to announce that individual tickets for FINDING NEVERLAND go on sale to the public on Friday, August 11 at 9:00AM. FINDING NEVERLAND will play the Aronoff Center November 7 – 19, 2017 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati 17/18 Season presented by TriHealth. Based on the Academy Award-winning Miramax motion picture by David Magee, and the play The Man Who Was Peter Pan by Allan KneeFinding Neverland follows the relationship between playwright J.M. Barrie and the family that inspired Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up – one of the most beloved stories of all time. Directed by Tony®-winner Diane Paulus (PippinHair) with book by Olivier Award®-nominee James Graham, music and lyrics by Gary Barlow (Take That) and Grammy Award®- winner Eliot Kennedy, and choreography by Emmy Award®-winner Mia Michaels (“So You Think You Can Dance,” Cirque du Soleil’s Delirium), this new musical, packed with mesmerizing visuals, irresistible songs and plenty of laughs, is a timeless story about the power of imagination… and spectacular proof that you never really have to grow up.

Equality Productions Presents Eve Ensler’s Play THE GOOD BODY, August 12-13

Cincinnati, OH, August 7, 2017:  THE GOOD BODY, 90-minute one-act play written by “The  Vagina Monologue” creator, Eve Ensler, is being presented by Cincinnati’s new Woman-Positive theatre group, Equality Productions.

The play is being sponsored by The Irish Heritage Center Theatre at The Irish Center, 3905 Eastern Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45226 on Saturday, August 12th, at 8PM, and on Sunday, August 13th, at 2PM. After the play, the audience is invited to meet with the cast and directors in the Center’s Irish Pub for questions and conversation about encouraging women’s strengths and presence in our individual and collective lives.

Equality Productions is the brainchild of local theatre actor/director, Richard Zenk. For THE GOOD BODY, Richard has brought Clare “CG” Gray on as co-Director of the ensemble piece.

Seasoned local actresses bring their talents to THE GOOD BODY: Peggy Allen (playing Eve Ensler), Amanda Borchers, Narisa Cole, Victoria Garcia, CG Gray, Lori Kirstein, Jessica Moore, and Maureen Kennedy, who is also a co-founder of the Irish Center.

Actors Needed for DARK OF THE MOON at CenterStage Players

CSPOH_logoCenterStage Players and director John Vanderplough have roles available for DARK OF THE MOON.

Based on “The Ballad of Barbara Allen” and set in southern Appalachia about 100 years ago, DARK OF THE MOON tells the story of John, a witchboy, who falls in love with Barbara Allen and wants to become human so he can marry her. The Conjur Woman allows him to do so provided that Barbara remains faithful to him for a year. As the townfolk start to realize John’s true nature, they begin a witchhunt for a real witch.

Actor Needed for MOON OVER BUFFALO at Sunset Players

SSP_logoSunset Players is seeking one more actor to play the role of George Hay in their production of Ken Ludwig’s MOON OVER BUFFALO. Description of the character:
George Hay – (Male, 50s) very dramatic, a slapstick type, over-the-top actor Must be able to do strong physical comedy, including pratfalls, running, stage combat (fencing – we will have a fight choreographer), etc.
