CATEGORY: Non-Equity Audition

PAY: Stipend $80

AUDITION LOCATION: Darkness Brewing 224 Fairfield Ave, Bellevue, KY 41073

AUDITION DATES: WEDNESDAY 9/27 7pm – 9pm & SATURDAY 9/30 12pm – 3pm

DESCRIPTION: I’M DREAMING…is a sketch comedy show that examines and skewers family, traditions and all things magical, that surround the holiday season.

CASTING:  Males and Females. Bonus, but not necessary: Background in improv/sketch comedy. NON-UNION. Must be 21+

TIME COMMITMENT: Some weeknight and a weekend afternoon rehearsals, leading up to Saturday Performances 11/25 – 12/16, at 8PM.

MATERIAL TO PREPARE: Sides will be provided at the audition, and actors will read in groups.

A tale based on the haunting folk ballad of “Barbara Allen.” It is the story of John, a strange “witch boy” who upon first beholding the beautiful Barbara Allen immediately falls in love. He is given human form to woo and marry her on the condition that she remain true to him. two star-crossed lovers fighting to just live simply and happily against pressures from two diametrically opposed worlds.

DESCRIPTION: The classic tale of Charlie and Willy Wonka’s famous chocolate factory comes to life on stage for The Carnegie’s annual family-friendly production. Cheer on Charlie as he finds his golden ticket, sing along with the Oompa-Loompas, and take a fantastical tour of the most famous candy factory of all time.

Based on the enchanting 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, WILLY WONKA features all of your favorite tunes, including “The Candyman,” “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket,” and “Pure Imagination.” It’s a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone’s sweet tooth.

Dost thou know that Cincinnati loves Shakespeare? In conjunction with Cincinnati Museum Center’s exhibition, Shakespeare and the Queen City, come hither as artist Mya Gosling, founder of Good Tickle Brain, shares her original interpretation of his stories. Mya will tell the story of how her early love of Shakespeare’s classic plays led to the creation of Good Tickle Brain in 2013, and its development to become the world’s leading stick figure Shakespeare webcomic. Highlighting the unique way comics entertain, educate, and entertain, Mya’s goal is to make Shakespeare fun and accessible to all audiences.
