Chris Harmon was also inducted into the Dayton Theater Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement for acting, directing and stage set design in 2013. Several other cast members have been awarded Daytony achievement awards for acting and directing in recent years.

“Cat on A Hot Tin Roof” is set in a 1950’s Southern plantation mansion. A family is celebrating the 65th birthday of Big Daddy, as they affectionately dub him. The mood is quiet, despite the festivities, because a number of evils poison the gaiety: greed, lies, and desperate actions become the focus of the event as knowledge spreads that Big Daddy is dying. Maggie and husband Brick have several marital strains including abstinence, alcoholism, and lust. Also vying for Big Daddy’s total attention are the conniving relatives and their five rambunctious children. Themes of father and son disappointments and feminine cunning draw the full family dynamics to a dramatic head.
