Sunset Players announces auditions for SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS OF THE BLACK FOREST by June Walker Rogers.

This is Sunset’s annual workshop children’s show to give anyone new to acting the opportunity to experience acting in front of live theater audiences.

Where: The Arts Center at Dunham, 1945 Dunham Way, Cincinnati, OH 45238

When: Sunday, Sept. 30, at 3 pm & Monday, Oct. 1, at 7 pm

It’s the late 1950s and teenagers from across the United States are going crazy for the handsome rock star, Conrad Birdie. But Conrad has received his draft notice and is about to be inducted into the army!! His manager, Albert Peterson, has staked his financial future on Conrad’s success. Albert’s secretary, Rosie, becomes fed-up with Albert’s lack of a marriage proposal and with his hilarious mother! Thus, as a final publicity stunt, Albert arranges for Conrad to kiss one lucky fan on the Ed Sullivan Show before he leaves for the army. Kim MacAfee, from Sweet Apple, Ohio, is the lucky girl. But conflict arises when her boyfriend, Hugo Peabody, gets jealous and Kim’s dad wants to be on the Ed Sullivan show… This Tony-award winning show includes hit songs such as The Telephone Hour, A Lot of Livin’ to Do and Put on a Happy Face. It is tops in imagination and frivolity; a show that will be enjoyed by all.

Jonathan loves sports and hanging out with his close circle of friends. When he is sidelined by an injury that leaves him temporarily blinded, the only classmate brave enough to visit him in the hospital is Hilda, a quirky loner. Her amusing letters and relentless encouragement help him heal, while teaching him valuable lessons about the importance of looking beyond appearances. When Jonathan returns to school and turns his back on Hilda, they both learn about true friendship in this funny and moving play. Recommended for grades 3-6.

Emerald Entertainment is seeking four actors for upcoming. romantic comedy EVE IN PARADISE. Seeking the following actors:

  • Judge: Male age open must balance firmness with sarcastic humor
  • Defendant: Female 20-35 preferably very funny sect and criminal. Very engaging to audience.
  • Prosecutor: Male/Female age not important.Must be stern and convincing.
  • Retired Lonely Postal Employee: Preferably 40 plus in age. Romantic personality and humorous.
  • Reverend: Male: Serious but witty at times. Doubles as a detective.
