A Lecture by Michael L. Cioffi, Adjunct Professor of Law,
University of Cincinnati College of Law, and Partner in Blank Rome LLP


Schedule of Events on May 8:
5:30pm: Wine and cheese reception.
6:00pm: Lecture by Michael Cioffi. Mr. Cioffi, a lawyer, has been writing and teaching about the law and the humanities in this country and abroad for many years.
7:30pm: Cincinnati Shakespeare preview performance of The Merchant of Venice, a tragic comedy by William Shakespeare about passion, betrayal, and a bargain with a terrible price.

Free Acting Workshops

The following Cincinnati 2012 SUMMER ATTAIN ACTING WORKSHOP SERIES was made available through an anonymous student donation. Each workshop will only accept eight participants. Workshops with four or less participants will be canceled one week prior to the event. Participants will be notified by email of any cancellation. All participants must register. To register, send your name, contact number and the date of the workshop you will be attending from the list below to ATTAINWorkshop@aol.com or call 513.254.3344.

The anonymous student donation covers travel cost only for the acting coach. Donations will be gratefully accepted but are not required. Location of all workshops will be at 800 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 on the third floor. This workshop is not intended for young children.

BPI Needs Men for ANNIE

Beechmont Players is still looking for men to assume several of the male roles in our summer production of ANNIE, to be produced August 2-11, 2012. This call includes roles of various sizes. ArtReach: A Division of The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, needs a male and a female actor, 18-30 years old, for full-time employment in touring productions. Contract runs September 2012 through May 2013. Must sing.

AUDITIONS HELD AT THE CARNEGIE
1028 SCOTT BOULEVARD | COVINGTON, KY

Actors should prepare one (1) contemporary musical theatre selection. Comedic selections are encouraged. Please also be prepared to dance.

An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. A cappella auditions, or those with pre-recorded accompaniment, will not be considered. Please provide two (2) copies of your résumé and at least one (1) headshot. All performers are compensated.

XANADU is a professional production, opening The Carnegie’s 2012-13 Theatre Series.
