The Friends of the School for Creative & Performing Arts is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Part-Time Box Office Manager.
This is a 9 month position (September-May), with flexible hours.
The Box Office Manager will report directly to the Executive Director of the Friends of SCPA and will be responsible for:
- Daily management of the Box Office at the School for Creative & Performing
- Arts in the weeks leading up to Mainstage Productions
- Supervise, Train and Oversee Box Office staff
- Set and maintain quality customer service standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous Box Office Experience
- Experience working with various types of word processing and spreadsheet application
- Excellent communication skills
- Candidate must possess the ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in a very diverse and artistic environment
- Experience and comfort working with online programs
- Experience working with volunteers
- Flexible Schedule, as this person would be required to be present for all weeknight and weekend performances a year, with the Box Office open for at least 90 minutes prior to the performance.
Weekend and Evening Performances are October 25th-29th, November 8th-11th, December 6th-9th, January 31st-February 2nd, March 20th-24th, April 18th-21st
Hourly salary commensurate with experience.
