Winner of the 2010 Tony Award for Best Play, RED took Broadway by storm with its provocative and searing portrait of an artist’s ambition and vulnerability. Having just landed the biggest commission in modern art history, abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko works feverishly in his studio with his brash, young assistant, Ken. As Rothko nears completion of what he hopes will be his crowning achievement, he faces the possibility that it could also become his undoing.

RED is suitable for adults and older teenagers. It contains adult language and mature themes. For more information, please see the Content Advisory.

Prophecies. Madness. Ambition. Blood. The King has been murdered, but how long will the new King live? In Shakespeare’s supernatural tragedy Macbeth, the titular Lord is led by the prophecies of witches to conspire with his wife on an ambitious plot to rule Scotland—at any cost. But when their delusions of power result in bloodshed, Macbeth is sent into a downward spiral of madness. Tormented by visions and guilt while the price of his crimes takes its toll, what fate awaits Macbeth? Join us for a chilling account of the destructively cyclical nature of dreams and nightmares come true.
