March 8-16
Sharonville

Directed by Karen Vanover

Cast: Peggy Allen, Trisha Cooper, Julie Jordan, Renee Maria & Rose Vanden Eynden

Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on the North Carolina Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. The Dixie Swim Club focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years. A hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever.

BUS STOP Runs Sept. 28-Oct. 6

SC_Bus StopBUS STOP
Presented by Stagecrafters Inc.
Sept. 28-Oct. 6
Sharonville

Directed by Eve Bolton

Cast: Crystal Bryan as Cherie, Justin Spencer sa Bo, Kaylee Michael as Elma, Elaine Michael as Grace, Jon Jackson as Will, Chris Bishop as Carl, Mark Metzner as Virgil & Mike Hughes as Dr. Lyman

In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a cheerful roadside diner. All roads are blocked, and four or five weary travelers are going to have to hole up until morning. Cherie, a nightclub chanteuse in a sparkling gown and a seedy fur-trimmed jacket, is the passenger with most to worry about. She’s been pursued, made love to and finally kidnapped by a twenty-one-year-old cowboy ready to sling her over his shoulder and carry her, alive and kicking, all the way to Montana. As a counterpoint to the main romance, the proprietor of the cafe and the bus driver at last find time to develop a friendship of their own; a middle-age scholar comes to terms with himself; and a young girl who works in the cafe also gets her first taste of romance.
