Director Sought for SANDERS FAMILY CHRISTMAS at RiverStage Community Theatre

RSCT_logo.jpgRiverStage Community Theatre of New Richmond, Ohio is seeking a DIRECTOR for their holiday musical, SANDERS FAMILY CHRISTMAS.

Performances will be over two weekends: December 2,3,4 (Sunday matinee) and 8,9,10.

Set eighteen days following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, SANDERS FAMILY CHRISTMAS is a sequel to the wildly successful Bluegrass Gospel musical Smoke on the Mountain. This time, twin Dennis Sanders of the Sanders Family singers is going to war–but not without a musical send-off, featuring hilarious and touching stories, and twenty-five Southern Gospel Christmas favorites.

Playhouse in the Park’s 1999 production of SANDERS FAMILY CHRISTMAS was held over several weeks after Christmas, still to sell-out crowds.

Ensemble cast of four males, three females.

Seeking director able to work collaboratively with the already in-place production team, with both comedic and musical chops, willing and equipped to serve also as musical director if need be.

Show can be produced with actors playing their own instruments, or using tracks. Audition results will determine how this will be handled going forward.

Resumes may be sent to riverstagehq@gmail.com. More information is available by calling RiverStage at 513-543-9149.
