Assistant Director Needed for A CHRISTMAS CAROL at RiverStage Community Theatre

RSCT_logo.jpgThis December, Bob Baker, New Richmond native and Artistic Director of Riverstage Theatre New Richmond, will direct from his own script, a faithful adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

As such, Riverstage Theatre New Richmond is looking for an Assistant Director for the show.

Show dates: November 23,24,25,30 & December 1,2

New Richmond is located directly on the banks of the Ohio River, under 15 minutes from the I-275 loop along Scenic Ohio River Byway, US Hwy 52.

Our most recent show, Miracle on 34th Street The Play, proved a great success for both RiverStage and our local community, and was held in New Richmond High School’s 493-seat theater. We also perform shows on the Market Street School Auditorium stage, a smaller, more intimate venue.

Cast Announced for WHAT THE BELLHOP SAW at RiverStage Community Theatre

A nice fellow checks into an expensive suite in New York City’s finest hotel, precipitating a fantastic nightmare involving a Salman Rushdie-type author, an Iranian terrorist, a vile wife from hell, a conniving bellboy, an incompetent FBI agent, a nubile celebrity-mad maid, a dimwitted secretary, and a little pig-tailed girl.’ [Ages 14+]

Auditions Announced for WHAT THE BELLHOP SAW at RiverStage Community Theatre

RSCT_logo.jpgRiverStage Community Theatre is pleased to announce auditions WHAT THE BELLHOP SAW, a hilarious farce by Billy Van Zant and Jane Milmore. “A antastic nightmare involving a Salman Rushdie-type author, a crazy terrorist, a vile wife from hell, a conniving bellboy, an incompenent mad maid, a dim-witted secretary, and a pig tailed girl”

Directed by Alan Kootsher

Cast requirements:

  • 8 Men ages mid 20’s to 50’s
  • 3 women 2 mid 20’s – mid 30’s
  • 1 Shrewish 40’s wife
  • 10-12 girl

Audition dates:

  • Sunday March 11 from 1 to 4PM at Old School Auditorium, 212 Market St, New Richmond, Ohio
  • Tuesday March 13 from 7 to 9pm at Old School Auditorium, 212 Market St, New Richmond, Ohio

Directors Sought for 2018 Season at RiverStage Community Theatre

RSCT_logo.jpgRiverStage Community Theatre of New Richmond, Ohio was formed in 2013, and has won both Orchid and OCTA awards in acting and technical categories, and is a member of ACT Cincinnati.

We are now entertaining applications from directors who would like to do a show with us for the 2018 season.

Please submit resumes and show proposals to riverstage.nr.publicity@gmail. com.

Please limit casts to no more than 12, and please, no musicals.
