The Church Basement Ladies are back, serving up more laughs! It is the 1959 Sunday School Christmas program. As the children rehearse, the ladies are finishing up goodie bags and touching up Nativity pieces. As they mend old bathrobe costumes, discuss the politics of who’s going to play various roles, little do the ladies know what surprises are in store for them.

Auditions Announced for SISTER ACT The Musical at La Comedia Dinner Theatre

LAC_logoLa Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro, Ohio, is holding auditions for its upcoming production of SISTER ACT The Musical on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at 765 W. Central Ave., Springboro, Ohio.

  • We will be auditioning for ALL male and female principal roles and ensemble.
  • Men and women of ALL ETHNICITIES encouraged to audition.
  • Sing 16 bars from a standard Broadway musical.
  • Be prepared to do some movement.

Director/Choreographer is Chris Beiser
Rehearsals begin April 10, 2017.
Performances April 27- June 18, 2017.

A tribute to the charm and wit of Southern women. STEEL MAGNOLIAS is a touching, comedy-drama that shows the healing power of laughter and friendship. As the women of Chinquapin, Louisianna gather to get their hair done in Truvy’s hair salon, they gossip and trade opinions about every day life. The women find strength and comfort in one another as they deal with life’s struggles, often through a fair amount of verbal ribbing.
