Feisty Broads Workshop SHE’S CRAZY (AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH MYTHS), Jan. 22-25

CP_Shes Crazy artClifton Players company member, Cathy Springfield, along with  Sherry McCamley, present SHE’S CRAZY (AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH MYTHS) at the Clifton Performance Theatre. Performances are Thursday-Sunday, January 22-25. 7:30pm Thursday through Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Tickets are FREE.

This production is made possible through The Cincinnati Arts Ambassador Fellowship which enabled Cathy and Sherry to present this free of charge.  Feisty Broads Productions is Cathy and Sherry’s company who produced A Big Gay Wedding last June.  Feisty Broads is dedicated to presenting work that brings issues to life onstage.

She’s Crazy is a cabaret format that uses original songs and personal stories with the goal of reducing the stigma of Mental Illness.  The subtitle, “Mental Health and Other Myths” speaks to the idea that we all have some sort of mental health issue throughout our lifetime.  One in four people in the U.S. (62 Million people) has a diagnosable mental illness and the other three know someone, either a family member, a co worker, or friend, who has a mental illness; we’re all in it together!  Mental Health is a combination of support and treatment.  Feisty Broads Productions aims to support open discussion and decrease the fear of talking about mental illness.

We hope that all mental health facilities will invite their clients to see this production free of charge.  There will be a talk back after each performance.  Please call for reservations as space is limited.
