Submissions Open for BROADWAY NIGHTS: A Broadway Revue at Fairfield Footlighters

Fairfield Footlighters is pleased to announce auditions for BROADWAY NIGHTS: A Broadway Revue

Director: Kate Brauer-Bell
Music Director: Elizabeth Hickerson
Choreographer: Genevieve Perrino

The show includes four performances September 26-28. Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday starting August 4. Not all performers will be called to all rehearsals. Rehearsals and shows will take place at the Fairfield Community Arts Center (411 Wessel Dr, Fairfield, OH 45014.) Soloists will be expected to work independently to prepare their pieces for the production. No conflicts will be accepted in the final two weeks.

Your songs should be from well-known shows and/or well-known musical theatre composers. This is your chance to sing the well-known Broadway favorites from the infamous “do not sing” lists! The more well known and beloved, the better. Submit 2 one-minute cuts (approximately 32 bars each) of two pieces you would potentially like to perform in the show. Ideally songs should be from roles that you might be cast to play (age, gender, etc.) Please choose one piece before 1990 and one piece 1990 or later. Duets are welcome! If submitting a duet, both performers should submit the same duet recording as part of their own audition package.

Please submit headshot, resume, and dance reel or video demonstration of your dance abilities. (If you don’t have any of the aforementioned items, you are still welcome to submit your audition!)

Email your materials no later than 4pm on July 21 to kbbauditions@gmail.com. Callbacks by invitation will take place July 28. Please answer the following for each song you submit:
