SOMETHING ROTTEN
Book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, Music and Lyrics by Karey Kirkpatrick and Wayne Kirkpatrick
October 17 – November 10, 2024

Welcome to the Renaissance! The Black Plague has ceded power to the Puritans. Farthingales and codpieces are the latest fashion trends. And the biggest celebrity in England is some guy named William Shakespeare. Meanwhile, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom, in trying to keep their acting company afloat consult a soothsayer who informs them that the future of theatre involves acting, singing, and dancing – sometimes all at once! With hilarious songs like “I Hate Shakespeare,” “Will Power” and the title tune “Something Rotten,” the Bottom brothers write the world’s very first “musical,” as they battle the Bard himself. SOMETHING ROTTEN is a hysterical, joyous musical celebration of everything you love about Broadway!

Cincinnati Landmark Productions announced this week its four-show 2025 Summer Classics Season at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater.

The 2025 Summer Classics Season includes:

THE WEDDING SINGER
April 16 – May 11, 2025

It’s 1985, and rock star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As fate would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever. Based on the 1998 film starring Adam Sandler, this stage adaptation captures the spirit, charm and humor of that comedy classic.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET
May 28 – June 22, 2025

The Tony Award-nominated musical Million Dollar Quartet is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary December night to life with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal and celebrations that is both poignant and funny. Relive the era with the smash-hit sensation featuring an incredible score of rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B and country hits. Song include “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Hound Doug,” and more!

BURGERTOWN: THE MUSICAL
July 9 – August 3, 2025

BurgerTown is a delicious musical comedy set in the Windy City. When Danny O’Riley, a timid fry cook accidentally invents the hottest new craze in the fast-food world; the Triangle Burger, he takes the humble BurgerTown diner from its lowly place beneath the tracks of the Fullerton train station to soaring new heights. Along the way, Danny encounters bad guys, big business, and beautiful women. While he struggles to hold onto his sanity, he chases his dreams for success, romance, and a fast-food fortune.

HAIRSPRAY
August 20 – September 14, 2025

The 1950s are out, and change is in the air! Hairspray, winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical, is a family-friendly musical, piled bouffant-high with laughter, romance and deliriously tuneful songs. It’s 1962 in Baltimore, and the lovable plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire – to dance on the popular “Corny Collins Show.” When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin and integrate a TV network… all without denting her ‘do!
