CSP(OH) Seeks Angel

HELP! We lost our Angel in the CenterStage Players – Ohio production of THE BUTTERFINGERS ANGEL, MARY & JOSEH, HEROD THE NUT, AND THE SLAUGHTER OF TWELVE HIT CAROLS IN A PEAR TREE. This is a funny, charming Nativity play. Think Saturday Night Live meets a church pageant.

We need an actor who can play early 20’s who has a flair for comedy.

Performance dates are December 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15.

Rehearsals are mostly Tues and Thurs nights and Sunday afternoons. Rehearsals and performances are at the North College Hill City Center.

CenterStage Players OH are pleased to announce the cast of their upcoming production THE BUTTERFINGERS ANGEL, MARY & JOSEPH, HEROD THE NUT AND THE SLAUGHTER OF 12 HIT CAROLS IN A PEAR TREE.

THE BUTTERFINGERS ANGEL, MARY & JOSEPH, HEROD THE NUT AND THE SLAUGHTER OF 12 HIT CAROLS IN A PEAR TREE written by William Gibson.

September 30, 2-5pm and October 1, 7-10pm at North College Hill City Center.

  • Angel (Male – able to play early 20’s)
  • Mary ( Female – able to play early 20’s)
  • Joseph ( Male – able to play 40-50’s)
  • Man in Grey ( Courier, Herod, Devil) (Male – able to play 30-50)
  • Tree (Female – able to play 20 – 40)
  • 3 Women ( any age) to play Women of Nazareth, Women of Herod’s court
  • 3 Men ( any age) to play Mary’s brothers, the three kings, soldiers
  • Cow (child 8-13) – virtually a nonspeaking part
  • Donkey ( child 8-13) – virtually a nonspeaking part
  • Sheep ( child 8-13) – virtually a nonspeaking part

All actors will sing as a group at some time in the play and should be able to learn 4-part harmony.
