Based on the 1989 classic film, Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunchie-wearing junta: Heather, Heather, and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio. But misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy stranger J.D., who plans to put the Heathers in their place – six feet under. Adult language and situations.

1964. In the wake of an assassination that shook a nation to its core, a larger-than-life figure is propelled into the national spotlight. Faced with civil unrest at home and an unpopular war abroad, accidental president Lyndon B. Johnson struggles at the eleventh hour to get the hotly contested Civil Rights Act across the finish line, and to keep an already divided country from tearing itself apart. This production contains scenes of violence.

In a NYC hotel room, in the spring of 1947, Branch Rickey, owner of the Brooklyn Dodgers, meets with four prominent African-Americans to discuss breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball. He wants support from their community to help with the controversy he knows will ensue. Jackie Robinson, Joe Louis, Paul Robeson, and Bill Robinson, aka Mr. Bojangles, attend the meeting – but it isn’t an easy fix. Concern about loss of jobs, as well as suspicion about Branch Rickey’s motives, come into play.

It’s the summer of 1930 in Harlem, New York. The creative euphoria of the Harlem Renaissance has given way to the harsher realities of the Great Depression. The play brings together a rich cast of characters who reflect the conflicting currents of the time through their overlapping personalities and politics.
