Stagecrafters announces auditions for their first production of the season, HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES, adapted & dramatized by Tim Kelly, directed by Karen Vanover.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday, July 5 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, July 7 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m at the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center.
Show dates are October 21, 22, 27, 28 & 29, 2017.

During World War II, Joe Keller and his business partner were accused of knowingly shipping damaged airplane parts that led to the deaths of twenty-one servicemen. While only his business partner, Steve Deever, was convicted of the crime, Keller was guilty as well. When both the Keller family and the Deever family find out the truth, it damages even further the relationships among the children of both families, resulting in the Keller son’s confrontation of his father. This play received the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play.

Auditions for THE CURIOUS SAVAGE will be held at Theatre 42, 2752 S Route 42, Lebanon, OH 45036, on Thursday, June 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and again on Sunday, June 25th also from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

THE CURIOUS SAVAGE, written by John Patrick, is a comedic play about Ethel P. Savage, an elderly woman whose husband recently died and left her approximately ten million dollars. Contrasting the kindness and loyalty of psychiatric patients with the avarice and vanity of “respectable” public figures, it calls into question conventional definitions of sanity while lampooning celebrity culture.
