Directed by Jeffrey K. Miller

Bailey has lost her dog. She’s searched for it for over a year. One day, she’s walking in the park and sees him, and he’s being walked by someone else. This is a play about four people whose lives intersect over a dog. It’s about trying to get back what’s lost and examines how sometimes people can act like dogs and dogs can act like people.

Virtual OFF THE METER AND ON THE RECORD On Oct. 23 at Irish Heritage Center of Greater Cincinnati

IATC_logoThe Irish Heritage Center of Greater Cincinnati presents a virtual performance of Off the Meter and ON the Record.

Uproarious and moving, Off The Meter and ON The Record is a terrifically mounted one-man show about a veteran New York City taxi driver. It’s a hugely enjoyable blend of the styles of Studs Terkel and Malachy McCourt. “The Bard of Gridlock” is how The New York Times described writer and performer John McDonagh. The Queens born Mr. McDonagh’s slight, old-time New York accent, gentle wise guy persona and superior comic timing perfectly realizes his well-constructed script.
