Auditions Announced for SNAPSHOT: A Musical Scrapbook at Lumos Players

We are excited to announce our upcoming production of SNAPSHOT: A Musical Scrapbook, featuring the unforgettable music of Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell)!

About the Show:
Sue is ready to leave her husband, Dan, but their shared memories bring them back together. A heartfelt exploration of love, memory, and rediscovery through Stephen Schwartz’s beautiful music.

Audition Information:

Auditions: January 12, 2025, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
First Rehearsal: January 19, 2025, at 1 PM
Rehearsals: Sundays 1:00 PM-5:00 PM, Mondays & Thursdays 7:00 PM-10:00 PM

Cast Announced for FOUR OLD BROADS at Mariemont Players

Mariemont Players and director Jennifer Day are thrilled to announce the cast of the upcoming production of FOUR OLD BROADS by Leslie Kimball.

Synopsis: Retired burlesque queen Beatrice Shelton desperately needs a vacation. A Sassy Seniors Cruise through the Caribbean may be just the ticket if she can just convince her best friend to go with her. Unfortunately, things have not been very pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since Nurse Pat Jones began working there. A mystery unfolds and hilarity ensues as the gals try to outsmart the evil Nurse Pat Jones and figure out why so many residents have been moved to “the dark side,” what exactly IS that mysterious pill, and what happened to Doctor Head? If they can solve the mystery, they may make it to the cruise ship after all.

Auditions Announced for BEETLEJUICE, JR at Rivertown Players

Please prepare approximately 1 minute of a song to sing in front of our directors.

Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out an audition form. Then, each person will be called to sing individually. Afterwards, please remain at Hamline Chapel, as you will be asked to read an excerpt from the script and learn a short dance with a small group.

Performances run April 25-27.

Stage Right Announces Stellar Cast for Beloved Musical, THE WIZARD OF OZ

Williamstown, KY – Stage Right Musical Theatre Company (MTC) is thrilled to unveil the talented cast of its upcoming production of the timeless classic, THE WIZARD OF OZ. Audiences are invited to follow the yellow brick road and experience the magic and wonder of this family favorite, brought to life by an exceptional ensemble of performers from all over the region.

Taking on the iconic role of Dorothy Gale is Cassidy Perme, whose captivating voice and heartfelt performance are sure to transport audiences to the magical land of Oz. Joining her on this unforgettable journey are James Lindeman as the brain-seeking Scarecrow, Cody Combs as the Tinman in search of a heart, and Zac Holman as the courageous but comical Lion.

The cast also features John Dorney as the enigmatic Wizard, Kennedy Kirkland as the villainous Wicked Witch of the West, and Delney O’Toole as the luminous Glinda the Good Witch. Each actor brings their own unique flair and energy to these beloved roles, promising a show filled with laughter, heart, and enchantment.

Adding further depth to the production are Mary Vosseberg, Brett Price, Cater Becktol, Gabriel Kanai Nakata, Maya Morgan, Emily Hilbrecht, and Chelsea Russell, who will bring the vibrant world of Oz to life as members of the ensemble. The production will also showcase a talented youth ensemble, featuring Eden Walker, Elaine Becker, Emmett Heubach, Evelyn Heubach, Catherine Bergstom, and Kent Sokolis.

Directed with vision and creativity by Stage Right MTC’s artistic team, THE WIZARD OF OZ promises to be an unforgettable experience for all ages. From the iconic songs to the dazzling choreography and stunning spectacle, this production will immerse audiences in a magical world that has delighted generations.
