Cast Announced for PROOF at Mason Community Players

MCP_logoMCP is excited to announce the cast of our first show of the 2024 Season, PROOF.

The cast will include:

  • Abby Farmer as Catherine
  • Claire LaNicca as Claire
  • Andy Crawford as Robert
  • Michael Knorr as Hal

Taking the helm for this show is Jim Cronin as Director and Producing is Tess Catlin.

Performances are February 23rd through March 2nd.

ACT Cincinnati Announces Applications for our 2024 Performance Scholarship Competition

ACT_logoDeadline for Application Submission is January 31, 2024 at 11:59pm ET.

Late application submissions cannot be accepted.

INFORMATION ON 2024 SCHOLARSHIPS
WHO: The Performance Scholarships are open to college Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior students currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program. Students must attend a college within 50 miles of the greater Cincinnati area and/or have a connection to one of our ACT Cincinnati member groups.

WHAT: This year, six (6) scholarships are awarded in amounts ranging from $1,000 – $3,000.  

WHEN: Submissions are due no later than January 31, 2024 at 11:59pm ET.

WHERE: Auditions will be held in person on Saturday, February 3, 2024 (with an alternate snow date of Saturday, February 10, 2024) between 10:00am to 3:00pm ET at the Stained Glass Theatre, 802 York Street Newport, KY 41071

PREPARE:  Students are to present two (2) contrasting pieces of either Voice, Dance, Instrumental, Acting, or a combination of any two.

All portions of the application must be completed and uploaded at the same time. 

Required items to be submitted digitally:

  1. Theatre Resume (Word or pdf)

  2. Biography (Word document, one paragraph, third person)

  3. Current Headshot photo with your full name visible (.jpg or .png file)

  4. Valid email address and phone number

THE DRAMA WORKSHOP was founded in 1954. TDW is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to advancing education and promotion of the theatrical arts.
