TheatreLab Dayton is absolutely thrilled to announce an exclusive musical theatre masterclass with guest artist Aaron LaVigne! You may have seen Aaron as Jesus in the recent touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar when it played at the Schuster Center. Originally from Cincinnati, Lavigne is a singer, songwriter, and actor based in New York City. He was in the Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark and was also in both the Off-Broadway revival and the National Tour of RENT.
If you’re a performing artist in the Greater Dayton area interested in receiving hands-on, personalized feedback during the masterclass, TheatreLab would love to give you the chance! Please submit a video of yourself performing a 32-bar cut of a song from your current repertoire to kingm@theatrelabdayton.org. The deadline to submit a video will be by midnight on October 14, 2022. Looking for performers aged 12 and up.
If you’re not interested in performing but still wish to view the masterclass, we have good news for you: There will be in-person and online options for viewing the masterclass and a Q&A immediately after. All are welcome! (questions will be taken from in-person viewers only).
