Dear Wright State Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures Patrons, Students, Faculty and Staff,
It is my disappointing duty to announce that we will postpone our production of MAMMA MIA until the Fall, where it will become part of our 2020-21 season.
As so many other public organizations have had to make similar decisions, it is the only responsible action. We care deeply about the health and well-being of our students, faculty and staff, and patrons. And, we are fully committed to helping all of you get through this public health emergency. Come Fall, we will look forward to having you with us to celebrate our collective health.
Our box office staff will work with ticket holders to arrange refunds, or allow you to convert your ticket to a donation.
Thank you for your continued support over these many years! Now, go wash your hands!
With my best regards for your health and safety,
Joe Deer, Chair
Department of Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures
Wright State University

In response to the elevated concern regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and consistent with recommendations from state health authorities to limit large gatherings and practice social distancing, Washington Township has made the decision to temporarily close the Recreation Center campus, including Town Hall Theatre, effective today, March 13 at 9:00PM for at least 3 weeks.
COVID-19 Update:
In light of the rapidly developing circumstances regarding COVID-19, we’ve decided the best way to serve the community is to suspend current productions for the time being.
TCT is committed to keeping our theater a healthy and safe place for our audiences, students, artists, volunteers, and staff.
