The biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes alive in the musical retelling. Joseph — the favorite son of Jacob — is blessed with vivid dreams that foretell the future. Sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, Joseph endures a series of adventures which challenge him to his core. Soon he finds himself belonging to Potiphar, whose wife makes advances toward Joseph and ultimately land him behind bars. However, news of Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams sparks the interest of the hilariously Elvis-like Pharaoh. Soon, Joseph is out of jail and well on his way to second-in-command. Eventually Joseph’s brothers find themselves unknowingly groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed. As they fail to even recognize him, Joseph tests their integrity. He ultimately reveals himself and the brothers are reconciled. A truly timeless Old Testament tale, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is set to a multitude of musical genres, spanning from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock and roll.

We are currently hiring ACTORS & MAKEUP ARTISTS 18+. Acting positions DO NOT require previous experience. They do require a high level of energy, stamina and a positive attitude!
Twisted Trails is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from late September to late October. Shifts start at 5:30pm and run approximately 8 hours.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY – Commonwealth Theatre Company at Northern Kentucky University’s School of the Arts is proud to present the locally-written campy, cheeky, audacious musical comedy of CHURCH GIRLS: THE MUSICAL, running July 5-21 in the NKU Robert & Rosemary Stauss Theatre. A buffet dinner will be served in the NKU SOTA Art Gallery prior to performances.
The “ladies” of Umatilla Second Christian Church Women’s Auxiliary League are back and producing their annual Mother’s Day pageant. As the “church girls” prepare for their pageant, chaos and calamity bring out less than ‘saintly’ behavior. The result is Heaven sent hilarity! CHURCH GIRLS: THE MUSICAL is a campy, cheeky, audacious musical comedy that will hit your funny bone and keep you laughing.

The Othello Project is looking for experienced and amateur musicians to provide musical content to a new theater troupe in Cincinnati, Ohio. You must be able to provide a sample of your past work. Not having experience will not bar you from this position, but you have to make it clear.

The Othello Project is a team of theater-minded people, dedicated to seeing a stronger presence of media for and about Urban minorities in the Tri-State. We are forming a superior midsized theater troupe that focuses on Afro-American/Pan African performance in an effort to create a once in a lifetime experience that will attract, enlighten, and entertain people from all over the globe.
