Dayton

Directed by Jared Mola

Cast: Barbara Jorgensen as Marjorie, Ryan Shannon as Walter, Wendi Michael as Tess & K.L.Storer as Jon

In the not-too-distant future and the age of artificial intelligence, 85-year-old Marjorie is trying to cope with the loss of her deceased husband through the use of a prime, an exact replica programmed to interact with her in human-like ways. What would we remember, and what would we forget, if given the chance? Would we rewrite the past? This play explores loss and memory, the mysteries of human identity and the limits (if any) of what technology can replace.

Oct. 6-21
Lebanon

THE SÉANCE is an interactive playlet. You are playing you, with just a bit of embellishment. You’ve been asked by a close friend to come to 10 S. Mechanic Street for the evening, to help an acquaintance of your friend’s. Due to your interest in the paranormal and/or ghost stories in general, your friend thought you would be of assistance to this acquaintance. Your friend has otherwise been quite vague and evasive as to the evening’s purpose. Despite some misgivings, you couldn’t resist passing on the mysterious request from your friend. Seating limited to 12 guests per performance. Due to the nature of the performance and the subject matter relating to the supernatural and paranormal, this event is not intended for young children. Adults and mature teens over 16 years old are recommended.
