Lumos Players in Loveland is looking for a Keyboard 2 player for the Christmas production of NUNCRACKERS.
This is a synthesizer part and requires mostly one-hand playing, with the ability to switch quickly between different sounds on the keyboard. This is a paid position!
Shows are Dec 8-10, with a dress rehearsal on Dec 7 and a pit rehearsal scheduled earlier in the month.

CINCINNATI, OH – September 18, 2017 — Sunset Players announces auditions for its children’s show GOLDILOCKS ON TRIAL by Ed Monk and directed by Chris Yearout.
Goldilocks is on trial for breaking and entering. Will she be found guilty and sent to prison or will the truth come out? It’s up to Judge Wallabee and some very silly jurors to decide, after hearing testimony from Goldee, the bickering Three Bears and surprise witness Merwin the Big Bad Wolf, among other.
Audition dates are Monday, October 2 and Tuesday, October 3 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Arts Center at Dunham, 1945 Dunham Way, Cincinnati, Ohio. The children’s show at Sunset Players is a great way for those (children or adults) with little to no acting experience to gain some experience performing live theater. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Auditions will consist of reading selections from the script.
Performances are December 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 & 10. Friday shows are at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.
The cast consists of 12 or more people, including three females and four male roles with the other remaining roles being non-gender specific.

Gabriel’s Corner [Over-the-Rhine]

SKINNED offers a look into my personal struggle with the voice and how it began to control my mind, and, as a result, my body. During my final year of university, I became interested in the ominous and oppressive qualities of the inner voice and its effects on everyday experience: how what one hears as their inner monologue warps their perception of reality. In my mind there appeared to be a duality within this voice, manifesting itself as a constant war between two modern deities: healing & disorder. I became interested in the similarities between the rhythms of the natural world (the changing of seasons, the tide, the moon cycle) and the rhythms of our bodies (the nervous system, heartbeat, breath). We have learned how to measure these patterns and yet understand so little about the mind, which moves to its own rhythm. What if we could learn to measure the way the mind ebbs and flows the way we’ve learned to measure time? Perhaps from there we could learn how to control the oppressive power of the inner monologue, where disorder and dysfunction thrive.

The Tony Award-winning team of Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Anastasia, Once on This Island, Ragtime) have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. This colorful cast of characters transports us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.
