misc_coney-island-logoMy name is John Kuchenmeister and I am working with Coney Island on a fall comedy show. Two actresses have been cast, but still looking for two actors to play a cowboy and a super-hero, any age. The production starts Oct. 8th and runs three weekends in October.

These are paid daytime performances from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. A good way to pick up some extra cash on the weekends that will leave your evening free.

Over-the-Rhine

Directed by Andrew Hungerford

Cast: Paul Riopelle as PI Frank Ellery, Maggie Lou Rader as Desiree St. Clair, Justin McCombs as Walter Kingston-Smith, Darnell Pierre Benjamin as Bradley Rayburn, Dylan Shelton as R.A. Lyncroft

Los Angeles, 1933. Washed-up PI Frank Ellery takes on the strangest case of his life. A hack literary agent has been gruesomely murdered, and the four suspects are the agent’s remaining clients: wildly eccentric writers for different pulp magazines. Frank dives into the mystery, and his world turns upside down as life begins to imitate literature. In this genre-bending, comedy, whodunnit, the plot swings from laughs to chills as science fiction, romance, adventure, and horror combine with one down-on-his-luck gumshoe who’s about to learn what really lurks between the lines.

AN EVENING WITH LIVINGSTON TAYLOR on Sept. 22

nku_an-evening-with-livingston-taylor-logoNorthern Kentucky University School of the Arts and Holly Hill Children’s Services are proud to present An Evening with Livingston Taylor. Taylor will perform in Greaves Concert Hall in the NKU Fine Arts Center on Thursday, September 22 at 7:30pm. All proceeds benefit NKU SOTA and Holly Hill Children’s Services.

From upbeat storytelling to touching ballads, Livingston Taylor is known for his ability to take audiences on a musical journey, whether singing hits “I’ll Come Running,” “I Will Be in Love with You” or other favorites. His vast musical knowledge has inspired a varied repertoire, and he is equally at home with a range of musical genres, including folk, pop, gospel and jazz.  His versatility has led to performing with such major artists as Linda Ronstadt, Jimmy Buffett and Jethro Tull among many others. As the younger brother of iconic folk rock star James Taylor, Livingston successfully carved out his own niche in the pop music world, gaining acclaim for exquisitely reworked covers of classics like “On Broadway” and “Over the Rainbow” among others, as well as his warm, heartfelt original tunes.

“From his well-crafted, introspective songwriting to the beautiful melodies he creates, to the warmth he generates during his live performances, Taylor has mastered the craft of being able to take his listeners on a journey.” – The Sampson Independent – Clinton, NC
