Cast Announced for CATCH ME IF YOU CAN at Showbiz Players

SBP_logoThe Showbiz Players is very proud to announce the cast for their production of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN this May at the Carnegie in Covington. It’s a true story Broadway musical based on the movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio & Tom Hanks. It was nominated for 4 Tony awards including Best Musical. You should make your plans now to come because the music is fabulous and this cast is phenomenal!!

Mariemont Players Announces RADIUM GIRLS

Mariemont Players presents RADIUM GIRLS, a drama by D W Gregory, at the Walton Creek Theater, 4101 Walton Creek Road (just East of Mariemont), January 8th through January 24th, 2016.

Inspired by a true story,RADIUM GIRLS tells of the girls who painted radium numerals on watches to make them glow in the dark at a time when few realized how dangerous radioactivity could be. Written with warmth & humor, RADIUM GIRLS has been hailed by critics as a powerful & engrossing play.

Radium Girls is directed by Dee Anne Bryll, produced by Tom & Nancy Ann Storey, and features the talents of Laura Berkemeier, Merritt Beischel, Allison Pemberton, Karen Wiebe, Bett Kooris, Amy Stier, Rilla Foster, Jef Brown, Wayne Kirsch, Joshua Broughton, Patrick Kramer, Joel Lind, Rich Setterberg and John Langley.

Audience interactive dinner show. Pull up the anchor and sail away on the Lust Boat as it cruises the muddy waters of the Mississippi. Join Teresa Woods and her two best friends as they mingle among the guests in search of love. However, nothing is as it seems. Mystery lurks among the corridors as a sinking feeling threatens to unravel a vacation of a lifetime. Don’t rock the boat or you might become seasick as the truth unfolds.

CINCINNATI MUSIC THEATRE PROUDLY ANNOUNCES THE CAST OF BIG FISH, A New Musical

So says Edward Bloom, the charismatic travelling salesman and teller of tall tales, who is at the center of the new musical BIG FISH. We think you’ll agree when you meet the talented folks who will be bringing Edward’s story to life in Cincinnati Music Theatre’s regional premiere production of this epic, life -affirming new musical.

Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, BIG FISH is a new Broadway musical featuring music and lyrics by Tony nominee Andrew Lippa  and  book by esteemed screenwriter John August.

Cincinnati Music Theatre’s regional premiere of BIG FISH is being produced by Catherine Fields Shultz and Kathy Beiting and directed by Skip Fenker, with choreography by Mike Fielder, musical direction by Charlie Wilhelm and vocal direction by Kendra Struthers.

BIG FISH, A New Musical, opens at the Jarson-Kaplan Theater at the Aronoff Center for the Arts on Friday, May 6 and runs through Saturday, May 14. Tickets are available now at www.cincinnatiarts.org and http://www.cincinnatimusictheatre.org.
