THE HALLELUJAH GIRLS Raise the Roof at The Arts Center at Dunham

SSP_The Hallelujah GirlsCINCINNATI, OH – February 3, 2014 —THE HALLELUJAH GIRLS by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten will hit the stage for Sunset Players starting this month.

The feisty females of Eden Falls, Georgia, decide to shake up their lives, after the death of a friend. The comic action focuses on turning an abandoned church into SPA-DEE-DAH, a full-service day spa. The comic tension mounts when an ex-boyfriend shows up unexpectedly, a marriage proposal comes from an unlikely suitor and an archrival vows to steal the spa. By the time the women rally together to overcome these obstacles and launch their new, improved lives, you’ve got a side-splitting, joyful comedy that will make you laugh out loud and shout “Hallelujah!”

Directed by Don Frimming, the cast for the Sunset Players’ THE HALLELUJAH GIRLS includes:

  • Dawn Fricke as Sugar Lee

Shows dates are: February 21, 22, & 28, March 1, 2, 6, 7 & 8. All shows begin at 8pm except Sunday performance that begins at 2pm.

Sunset Players, Inc. is a community theater group located on the west side of Cincinnati. Founded in 1979, the group performs at the Arts Center at Dunham and has produced more than 120 plays.
