Presented by Zoot Theatre Company

The sweet transvestite and his motley crew will hit the stage in an entirely new way and for the first time ever. A much different take on this classic, yet campy musical this deliberately kitschy rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi Gothic is more fun than ever and let’s face it…it’s going to be done like ONLY Zoot can do! Caution: adult themes and strong language are used. Recommended for those ages 16 and up.

Reviews: Behind the CurtainEnquirer |

Directed by Buz Davis

THE WHALE is a humorous and heartbreaking look at how we cope with loss, family and religion — a trifecta of taboos. The play stars Reggie Willis as Charlie, a morbidly obese college writing professor who is trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter.

The Priests in Concert | Tue., Nov. 19 | Aronoff Center

CAA_The PriestsCINCINNATI, OH – Direct from Ireland, The Priests – the acclaimed tenor trio of Fathers Martin O’Hagan, Eugene O’Hagan, and David Delargy – bring an unforgettable evening of music for the whole family to the Aronoff Center’s Procter & Gamble Hall for one night only on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 7:30 PM. The concert is presented by the Cincinnati Arts Association as part of its 2013-14 Season.

Tickets are on sale now at www.CincinnatiArts.org, (513) 621-ARTS [2787], and the Aronoff Center Ticket Office. Group discount tickets for 10 or more are available by calling (513) 369-4363.

When The Priests released their eponymously-titled album in 2008, they could have had little inkling of what was about to happen to them. As it transpired, plenty did – huge record sales, record-breaking triumphs, and global fame.

Which means that now, five years later, Fathers Martin O’Hagan, Eugene O’Hagan, and David Delargy are among the most recognized and successful tenor trios in both the religious and secular worlds. Their debut album sold at such a fast pace, it secured them a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest-selling classical debut ever.

They fascinated the global media and graced the pages of all manner of publications, including Time magazine, and shared sofa space with TV hosts the world over. They have sung to audiences that include the British Royal Family and the Irish President. They were nominated for Classical Brit Awards for Classical Album of the Year for three consecutive years, and in September 2010, The Priests shared a stage with Pope Benedict XIV before a crowd of 80,000 people in London’s Hyde Park. Millions more watched on television.

In 2011, they wanted to spend more time in their parishes. There were a sprinkling of concerts in Europe, and their Christmas with The Priests concerts in Ireland were a huge success. Towards the end of 2011, The Priests were approached by a screenwriter who asked if he could write the story of their musical lives and turn it into a film. Raising the Roof is currently in pre-production and is set for release in late 2014.
