Bernard is engaged to Gloria. And to Gabriella. And to Gretchen. Three beautiful flight attendants kept secret from each other only by Bernard’s precise timetables of flights in and out of Paris. But when Boeing invents a faster engine, Bernard’s three foxy fiancées converge on his flat at the same time, igniting a mad dash of hidden women and nick-of-time maneuvers as Bernard tries desperately to save his perfect bachelor fantasy. Throw in a surprise visit by Bernard’s amorous old school chum, Robert, and Berthe, the reluctant housekeeper to complete this clever physical comedy.

Auditions for the Independent Short Comedy film COMING CLEAN

Time: 5:30-8:30pm

Where: Campbell County Library – Newport Branch, 901 East 6th Street, Newport, KY 41071

“They say that breaking up is hard to do, but depends on who is doing the breaking.” An independent film crew is looking to fill for the following roles:

  • One Woman that looks between the ages of 25-35
  • Two Men that look between the ages of 25-35

We will also be looking for extras, and other minor roles where needed. All cast and crew positions are unpaid, but will be provided with a DVD copy of the film.

Actors will perform cold readings from the script.

A headshot and resume is appreciated but not required.

Filming is slated to take place January 2014.

Cast:  Stephen Catlin as Bernard, Jon Scheiding as Robert, Gail Rudolph as Bertha, Carrie Johnson as Jacqueline, Amy Rose Botos as Janet & Kiya Fix as Judith

This laugh out loud comedy, set in the 1960s, revolves around Bernard, a swinging bachelor and his 3 fiancées. Each is a stewardess for a different international airline. The juggling is easy with “One up, one in and one pending”. All is well and good when Bernard’s friend Robert comes to visit and sees how the game is played. It’s all to the wind however when a storm hits and all 3 fiancées are in the apartment at the same time. Will the women find out? Will Bernard and Robert survive? Will anyone ever get married?
