Mariemont Players presents MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, a comedy by Ron Hutchinson, at the Walton Creek Theater, 4101 Walton Creek Road (just East of Mariemont), January 11th through January 27th, 2013.

It’s 1939 and legendary Hollywood producer David O. Selznick has shut down production on his new epic, “Gone With the Wind.” Selznick pulls in famed screenwriter Ben Hecht and formidable director Victor Fleming for a complete script rewrite. On a hilarious, yet sometimes emotional roller coaster, they labor behind locked doors over five days to fashion a screenplay that will become the blueprint for one of the most successful and beloved films of all time.

MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS is directed by Dee Anne Bryll , produced by Ed Cohen, and features A.J. Ford as Victor Fleming, John Langley as David O. Selznick, Joel Lind as Ben Hecht and Rilla Foster as Miss Poppenghul.

Performances will be at 8:00pm on January 10th (preview), January 11th, January 12th, January 17th, January 18th, January 19th, January 24th and January 25th; at 7:00pm on January 13th; at 2:00pm & 7:00pm on January 20th; at 4:00pm & 8:00pm on January 26th; and at 2:00pm on January 27th.
