Cincinnati Research & Paranormal Studies (CR&PS)
CR&PS was founded in November 2005 by a group of friends who discovered that they shared an interest in the paranormal. Since then, the CR&PS team has traveled to more than eight states to investigate many haunted locales, including Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Lemp Mansion, the former West Virginia Penitentiary, Gettysburg, and several private residences and businesses.
CR&PS is dedicated to investigating, documenting, and researching claims of the paranormal. The organization is willing to investigate any unexplained phenomena in private residences, businesses, and historical sites – including outdoor locations. Its mission is to capture physical evidence through the use of audio, video, photography, and other data-measuring/recording equipment in order to explain, disprove or validate reports of paranormal activity.
CINCINNATI MUSIC HALL
Music Hall stands majestically at the corner of 14th and Elm Streets in Cincinnati’s historic Over-the-Rhine – just a short walk from the city’s center. Dedicated at the time of the fourth May Festival in 1878, Music Hall has endured famously over the years as a testament to those who conceived it and to those who continue to contribute to its grandeur. This Cincinnati showpiece was built with private money raised from what is believed to be the nation’s first matching grant fund drive and has been renovated and updated on numerous occasions. Music Hall’s Springer Auditorium is world renowned for its extraordinary acoustics and is judged to be among the best and most beautiful concert theaters in the world. In January 1975, Music Hall was recognized as a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
